How long does the buying process take?
The time frame for purchasing in this area is totally flexible. Completion dates are completely dependant on the wants and needs of yourselves and the vendor. This approximate end date will be decided at the point of reservation. The date can be brought forward if desired but can only be pushed back if both parties are in agreement.
What if I can’t travel over for completion?
Don’t worry! If you arrange a Power of Attorney, you’re legal representative can sign on your behalf and keep the keys for you for your arrival. PoA can be arranged here in Spain or remotely.
What documents do I need to able to purchasing a property in Inland Malaga?
All you need to purchase in Spain is an NIE number and a Spanish bank account. If you don’t have these things you can either arrange them yourself or, if you have power of attorney, your legal representative can arrange both for you.
What sort of offer can I make on a property in this area?
This is a difficult question to answer. We would recommend first of all to offer with good will as in the long run, sales tend to run smoother if the buying and selling parties are on good terms.
The amount a vendor is willing to negotiate also depends on their personal situation, some vendors are more motivated to sell than others. Our job as negotiators is to find a happy middle ground and ensure that both parties are satisfied with the final transaction.

Another point to be aware of is that your deposit money is protected at all times. If your representative finds a discrepancy in the paperwork that cannot be solved and you feel uncomfortable with proceeding, you will receive your deposit back in full.
